Job Description
The Project Manager B is responsible for oversight of the Penn Frontotemporal Degeneration Center’s (FTDC) federally-funded observational research portfolio focused on young onset neurodegenerative diseases including frontotemporal degeneration (FTD), Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementias. Responsibilities include:

Supervising up to six clinical research coordinators.
Execution of study protocols and prioritizing efforts of the study team.
Overseeing timely and accurate data collection and research billing.
Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and staff onboarding and ongoing training activities.
Leading yearly performance reviews for CRC with the PI and assisting in interviewing CRC hiring candidates.
Managing CRC maintenance of essential (CRF) and source documentation and correspondence.
Ensuring overall and data-specific target enrollment for protocols and reporting to PI to ensure recruitment goals are maintained.
Engaging with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), regulatory affairs, and the Office of Clinical Research.
Managing invoicing per protocols from patient-tracking excel files of billable activities.
Overseeing human subject protection policies and procedures, managing ongoing longitudinal projects, and troubleshooting operational issues.

Qualifications
Master of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Effective problem-solving abilities; effective communication and writing skills; strong organizational and time management skills; flexible and able to multi-task; demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently; knowledge of IRB and human subject research protection regulations, and familiarity with federally-funded research process.

$61,046.00 - $110,000.00 Annual Rate
