Java Full Stack Engineer - Java/Angular (heads up)
Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Full Stack Java Developer position for a Fortune 15 Healthcare company. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an organization that is on a mission to disrupt healthcare. In this role you will support a Specialty platform that has embedded predictive analytics and helps ensure lower cost of specialty medications for patients.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.
- Utilizes development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
- Plan and execute system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
- Demonstrate conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
- Analyze production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
- Demonstrate knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would bring the following:
- Java experience required.
- Javascript experience required; familiarity with Angular or other similar modern framework strongly preferred.
- Experience with client-side web development.
- Experience with API and back-end development.
- Experience with modern relational database platforms (e.g. MS-SQL, MySQL, Postgres).
- Experience in modern analytics platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau).
- Experience with Kafka or similar platforms.
- Capable of designing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with modern cloud hosting platforms.
- Familiarity with Columnar Databases and NO-SQL platforms a plus.
- Understanding of the applicability of AI and ML in the Healthcare setting.
- Practical experience with DevOps, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration systems a plus.
