We're looking for a Principal Product Designer to help us craft the future of meetings in Teams working across calling, devices, and live events. You'll have the opportunity to shape the design of Microsoft Teams, a chat-based collaboration app that is changing how people work together. We value creativity, sharing ideas openly, and having fun while we work. Most of all, we’re motivated by the desire to create best-in-class product experiences people love.
You’re a tastemaker who elevates the craft while you inspire, define, articulate, and deliver elegant and simplified solutions to our most complex problems. Leading by example is a critical skill for this role so we’re looking for someone who is not only an exceptional designer but someone who can work across partners and executive stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who can scale from big picture thinking to detailed design and love doing both. You will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of world-class designs from conception through completion by deeply collaborating with engineering, product management, and other design teams. You will need to be able to communicate your ideas using a wide variety of methods—from telling a compelling story, to providing sketches, to creating fully rendered designs.
The world has shifted in the last two years and companies are embracing the hybrid workplace and rolling out new ways for their employees to work together both physically and virtually.
