What You Will Do
Video and Safety Analytics is a cornerstone offering of the mobility business. With increased overall consumerism, and emphasis to deliver goods faster in the market, we see more scrutiny around the safety of Carriers’ operations, which not only ensures the safety of the public at large, but also the safety of the professional drivers that represent the heartbeat of the entire industry.
This role will encompass all solutions centered around the Safety Manager / Advisor persona, ranging from company and driver safety programs, to Trimble’s flagship Video Intelligence solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches.
- Develop high level initiatives that support the Video and Safety Analytics product area objectives, and define corresponding Epics / Features to achieve said initiatives.
- Create product plans to solve market problems through market and product requirements definition, product positioning, and development of user personas.
- Define KPIs and success metrics to measure the performance of the delivered products.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning, pricing, messaging, and promotional activities, to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Conduct market/user research and competitive analysis with the help of Marketing, Sales, and UX to identify market trends, and create opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Create product budgets and resource allocation justifications to ensure successful product delivery.
- Support the direct and indirect channels with market and product expertise through presentations, demos, strategic sales calls, events (conferences, trade shows, webinars).
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, transparency and a customer-focused culture.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Bachelors’ Degree in relevant field (business, engineering, computer science).
- 7+ years of product management experience with demonstrable track record of successful product releases.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities, with the capability to synthesize complex information, translate market insights and business goals into actionable product strategies.
- Fluency in business strategies, with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify revenue opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Internal and external (customer-facing) presentation and training skills.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp the high level technical aspects of software development (A/B testing, phased rollouts, test automation, cyber security, user testing, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Problem solving ability and analytical business skills.
- Leadership and participation in cross-functional teams.
- Position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites (25%. Travel may spike in some months).
