Location: Tulsa, OK. This is an onsite position for those already in Tulsa, OK or willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK.
Who You Are?
Serves as a key strategist in identifying and securing new opportunities to generate revenue and workforce opportunities for A New Leaf, Inc. (ANL) clients. Manage and operate the social enterprise current structure as well as new opportunities at ANL, so it may achieve a $500,000 profit within 3-5 years through various avenues such as:
- New locations for horticulture sales
- New markets for horticulture sales
- New revenue streams for social enterprise
- New business opportunities
Supervisory Responsibilities
How you will make an impact:
Directly manage Sales Supervisor and oversee a sales team of 10.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Cultivate meaningful and impactful professional relationships, providing education to external partners on the purpose, process, and goal of the partnership.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost/revenue optimization within the sales department.
- Secure workforce contracts with area employers ($100,000 in the first year).
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify internal resources and abilities available to potential workforce partners.
- Gather 'voice of the customer' feedback from partners and customers, and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained and rebuilt as needed.
- Implement evidence-based merchandising strategies to optimize customer purchase and customer experience.
- Obtain and analyze data regarding the quality and service performance of our business and prepare it for review with internal and external partners.
- Using best practices, establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales and workforce contract processes.
- Establish and execute training procedures and expectations for internal teams to perform jobs with business partners.
- Serve as ongoing liaison between business partners and internal teams to monitor progress.
- Participate in developing ANL's strategic plans to meet the organization's needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to benefit the mission of the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license, including dependable vehicle/transportation to and from work, and automobile insurance coverage, to ensure you are eligible to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Work a flexible schedule based on the needs of A New Leaf, Inc., including but not limited to working scheduled evenings or weekends based on the department/event need.
- Expressed desire to work with and a positive attitude when working with people with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to thrive and be productive equally in a team-oriented or autonomous environment.
- Ability to clearly exemplify A New Leaf, Inc.'s Core Values of Client-Centered/Customer-Focused; Professionalism; Innovation; and Collaboration.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of sales work experience required, marketing and merchandising work experience preferred.
- Supervisor experience required.
- Must possess intermediate math skills including the ability to calculate figures, amounts, and percentages.
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and prolonged periods of standing, outdoor, and interactive activities if working in our Garden Centers.
- Bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 30lbs.

About Us
A New Leaf's mission is to provide individuals with developmental disabilities with life skills, marketable job training through horticultural therapy, community-based vocational placement, and residential services to increase their independence and individual choices. A New Leaf was established in 1979 to provide horticultural-related job training to adults with developmental disabilities. A New Leaf began with one greenhouse, one staff and served two individuals. By 1980 A New Leaf grew to serve 13 individuals. In 1986, A New Leaf built its first 12,000 sq. ft. greenhouse and vocational training facility. Then in September 2013, acquired Homelife Association. Through the acquisition, A New Leaf began operating two group homes and providing 24-hour assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities living independently. Today, A New Leaf is honored to serve 325 individuals with developmental disabilities and autism through employment in five greenhouses, two retail centers, community job sites, students in the classroom, and individuals in residences.
