Role: Consulting Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Manager to join our team at Collectiv. As a Consulting Manager, you will play a critical role in leading, managing, and advising our team of W2s and 1099s. Your expertise in consultant accountability, resourcing, strategic account management, sales support, as well as Power BI and the Azure Data stack, will be vital in driving the success of our consulting projects and achieving our business goals.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent in this position will be accountable for and responsible for achieving the following:
- Consultant Accountability:
- Drive consultant accountability for timesheet entries, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitor and manage consultant resourcing, ensuring timely and accurate assignment to relevant projects.
- Facilitate weekly updates and HubSpot deals and sales updates by consultants.
- Strategic Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist sales with scoping and related sales calls, leveraging your expertise in Power BI and the Azure Data stack to support the sales process.
- Drive follow-on sales for existing clients, identifying opportunities for additional services and revenue growth.
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and run consulting L10 meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment among the consulting team.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with consultants, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding processes for new consultants, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Operations and Sales Support:
- Assist with reporting and model enhancements, leveraging your expertise in Power BI and the Azure Data stack to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure that consulting technologies and processes, including Power BI and the Azure Data stack, are followed by all team members.
- Review and approve client invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing guidelines.
Principal Duties:
The person in this position will perform the following tasks:
- Drive consultant accountability for timesheet entries, resourcing, weekly updates, and HubSpot deals and sales updates.
- Ensure accurate resourcing for projects and assign consultants to relevant projects.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with clients, providing account management support and leveraging your expertise in Power BI and the Azure Data stack to deliver valuable insights.
- Assist in driving consultant's rock accountability and facilitate consulting L10 meetings, utilizing Power BI and the Azure Data stack for data-driven decision-making.
- Provide support to sales by assisting with scoping and participating in sales calls, utilizing your expertise in Power BI and the Azure Data stack to showcase data-driven solutions.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with consultants for mentoring and performance feedback, utilizing Power BI and the Azure Data stack to analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare for and actively participate in manager's meetings according to the provided agenda, utilizing Power BI and the Azure Data stack to present relevant data and insights.
- Assist with reporting and model enhancements, utilizing your expertise in Power BI and the Azure Data stack to improve operational efficiency and provide accurate reporting.
- Contribute to consulting hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary skills in Power BI and the Azure Data stack.
- Ensure compliance with consulting technologies and processes, including Power BI and the Azure Data stack, by all team members.
- Review and approve client invoices to ensure accuracy and adherence to billing guidelines.
Standards and Measures of Performance: The incumbent in this position will be considered to be at or exceeding expectations when:
- Direct W2 reports achieve a utilization rate of 75%.
- Company and individual rocks achieve a completion rate of 75%.
- Maintain an average of 15 billable hours per week.
- Utilize Power BI and the Azure Data stack to deliver data-driven insights and solutions to clients.
