(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (Addiction) - A non-profit multi-specialty organization serving patients across south central Massachusetts and northeastern Connecticut is seeking an adult psychiatrist with an addictions background to join their team.
The Adult Inpatient substance use disorder psychiatrist provides care on an adult Co-occurring disorders unit treating patients with substance abuse and/or psychiatric disorders. The psychiatrist will provide inpatient psychiatric care to male and female adult patients (Over the age of 18) with substance abuse and psychiatric disorders. The spectrum of clinical duties includes providing acute inpatient treatment to adults with major affective disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders in addition to substance use disorders.
Candidates must be highly motivated, flexible, and able to work as part of an integrated team who will provide sound diagnostic and therapeutic care to unit patients. The psychiatrist will be expected to work as a part of a collaborative team and within a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to maintain full integration among these levels of care.
Monday through Friday schedule. Above average salary and benefits to include base compensation and performance bonus.
