- Minimum of 2-5 years of California employment law experience.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with business disputes, wage and hour claims, and class actions preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of employment law matters, including wage and hour disputes, whistleblowing, discrimination cases, and class actions.
- Handle both defense and plaintiff cases, providing comprehensive legal support and strategic counsel.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and interact with clients and opposing counsel.
- Participate in depositions, court appearances, and other litigation proceedings as needed.
- Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in managing caseloads while fostering collaborative relationships within the firm.
