The Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York and the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation/Cellular Therapy in the Department of Pediatrics at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seeks board certified/eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology for a full-time Pediatric Hem/Onc Hospital Based Hematologist Oncologist at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Academic position with teaching responsibilities
- Opportunities for leading and collaborating in clinical research and quality improvement projects
- Mentoring of pediatric residents and Hematology Oncology fellows
- Academic appointment at The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with experience.
Cohen Children’s Medical Center is a 202 bed tertiary children’s hospital. Clinical care is provided in an 18 bed oncology unit with 8 beds specifically designed and designated for stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, a 13 bed Ambulatory Chemotherapy Transfusion Unit and a dedicated outpatient diagnostic center.
