Aon is currently looking for a Senior Vice President - Crisis Management Group. Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for a Broker III in our New York City Office supporting our Crisis Management Group, specifically with the political risk team. Work Style: Hybrid - work in office 2-3 days a week as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, relationship managers, and originators.
- Serve as a mentor to others on the team.
- Identify and analyze client exposures.
- Facilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with clients, relationship managers, originators, and service center support.
- Handle insurance marketing activities to carriers for insurance placement of related accounts, including receiving requests for quotations from account personnel, identifying appropriate carriers, sending requests, negotiating favorable quotes, and preparing alternative options.
- Finalize market submissions.
- Develop and maintain thorough and detailed knowledge of products and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters.
- Provide status updates and continuous support and service to clients during the entire placement process and engagement period.
- Drive utilization of all available technology throughout the placement and client service process.
- Develop policy wording to address clients’ specific needs.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to build and improve upon existing products.
- Build, expand, and solidify relationships with carrier product managers and/or head office management.
- Develop, execute, and implement client service plans.
- Serve as a primary internal source for information concerning market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies.
- Understand the causes of E&O and adopt practices to reduce exposure.
- Adhere to all best practices and ensure profitable growth and account retention.
- Recognize and develop opportunities to grow business and expand clientele.
- Manage a team and play the lead role in the management of a portfolio of client business.
- Apply professional principles and business judgment to solve unique problems and develop new procedures, processes, and products.
- Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities.
Special Skills
Candidate must have good analytical skills, with a focus on client operations, financials, and industry and product expertise. The position requires strong multi-tasking abilities and client-facing skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to deal with people, are a must.
Minimum Required Experience
Strong knowledge of global industry and business environments. 10 years of job experience.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Economics, or related field with MBA considered a plus.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $160,900 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities.
