Job Description
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions related to joint injuries and degenerative diseases, with a particular focus on hip and knee. Here’s what awaits you:
Engaging Practice Scope:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures utilizing the latest techniques and technologies to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education, counseling and rehabilitation guidance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including orthopedic surgeons, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver integrated and coordinated care.

Qualifications
- Possess a Medical degree, completion of medical residency.
- Possess and maintain current Board Certification or Board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Joint Surgery.
- Possess and maintain current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
- Possess and maintain current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possess and maintain, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Demonstrate meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
- Demonstrate appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.
