Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine Department of Surgery is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join its team with a dual appointment at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. Appropriate candidates should be capable of performing vascular surgery operations and be engaged in educating surgical residents and medical students who will regularly rotate on service at each practice location.
The candidate will have successfully completed an accredited program and will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and should be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
The Hines VA Hospital is a 483-bed Veteran’s Affairs Hospital that sits on 170 acres adjacent to the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. This facility, faculty, and staff are dedicated to the high-quality comprehensive care of our nation’s veterans. This position also belongs to a team of general surgeons that care for veterans collaboratively.
