The Department of Dermatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking an academic medical dermatologist with an interest in patient care and teaching.
Our department provides unique opportunities for medical dermatologists to practice and teach at the Medical Center in the Longwood Medical Area and in our department’s state-of-the-art practices in Chestnut Hill and/or Needham. As a major Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, we provide training for Harvard Medical School students, fellows and residents. Ideal candidates must have excellent clinical skills and a passion for teaching, and working with residents. Interest in clinical research is strongly encouraged. The candidate must be board-eligible or certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. A commitment to the values of an academic environment is required.
Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD-PhD, and Board Certification in Dermatology.
