What you will do:
Data-driven and technically savvy; Responsible for driving our GTM (go-to-market) success, collaborating to refine product positioning and messages, developing market insights, launching new products, and optimizing pricing & packaging strategies. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the conceptualization and execution of go-to-market strategies for Cloud/SaaS products, ensuring their successful deployment and taking full responsibility for their outcomes.
- Positioning & Messaging: Oversee the development and refinement of product positioning and messaging, presented and communicated using Google Slides/PowerPoint to the cross-functional stakeholders, that sets the company apart in the market, with a focus on Cloud/SaaS offerings.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Drawing from expertise in the data domain, serve as the primary authority on market and competitive intelligence. Using data visualization tools like Tableau, gain deep insights into buyers, their behaviors, and the broader market trend.
- Content Strategy & Thought Leadership: Oversee the creation of compelling content that elevates the company's brand and educates customers about its open-source and cloud offerings. Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences, establishing its authority in the data and AI domain.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Spearhead cross-functional initiatives with senior leaders from marketing, sales, and product management to ensure alignment around strategic go-to-market plans.
- Audience Segmentation & Sales Plays: Direct the alignment of key messages to specific target audiences within user and customer journeys, emphasizing sales plays that underscore the value of the company's Cloud products derived from its open-source offerings.
- Sales Enablement & Collateral Development: Lead sales enablement initiatives and collaborate with senior leaders to oversee the creation of high-impact resources such as slide decks, tutorials, demos, videos, and technical white papers that support strategic go-to-market initiatives for Cloud/SaaS products.
- Product Launches: Lead the launch of new Cloud/SaaS offerings, ensuring they gain traction in the market and are well-received by customers.
- Feedback Loop: Utilize CRM such as Salesforce to collect customer data and conduct subsequent analysis, ensuring that open-source and cloud products are refined in alignment with market needs and preferences.
- Pricing & Packaging Strategy: Direct the development and refinement of pricing and packaging strategies for Cloud/SaaS products, using data analytics tools such as Google Sheet/ Excel to ensure optimal market penetration and revenue growth.
What we are looking for:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or closely related fields plus 2 years of experience working as a Product Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, or a closely related position. In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or closely related fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience. A foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.
- Experience should include minimum 2 years of marketing experience in Cloud/SaaS domain; devising go-to-market strategies for open-source data technologies/services; launch new cloud/SaaS products and features; working with Google Sheets/Excel; Google Slides/ PowerPoint; Salesforce; Tableau.
SALARY: $252,700.00/per year
HOURS: M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
JOB LOCATION: Redwood City, CA. Approximately 10% of domestic travel, primarily to New York, New York and Seattle, Washington areas.
