We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chief Operating Officer to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth execution of all business activities within our hard money lending firm. This individual will manage staff, streamline processes, and work closely with the leadership team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of loans, documentation, and other business functions.
- Oversee and support team members, providing guidance and managing performance to ensure staff meets their objectives.
- Coordinate and monitor loan processing, underwriting, and closings.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Work with leadership to define and achieve operational goals and metrics.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with various departments such as operations, sales, draws, underwriting, and accounting to improve workflow and enhance communication.
- Report on operational performance to upper management, making recommendations for improvement.
- Set performance parameters on processes and manage to ensure top performance.
- Work closely with other company leaders and owners to enhance the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the lending, banking, or real estate industries.
- Knowledge of hard money lending practices, regulations, and loan servicing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and lending software.
- Ability to grow the business through strategic partnerships, expanding client bases, and improving product offerings.
- Experience with assessing and mitigating risks inherent in short-term, high-interest lending backed by real estate collateral.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in underwriting or loan origination.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and financial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to train and develop staff.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
