Description Of Duties
- Provides strategic direction and objectives for the distribution of Nintendo products in the US.
- Monitors performance related to contractual obligations and needs of the markets, and adjusts plans accordingly.
- Provides key project and business reporting to senior management at Nintendo of America (NOA) and Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NCL).
- Establishes Sales,Promotional,and Retailer Marketing program direction.
- Develops and directs regional communication programs including public relations, advertising, and retailer websites.
- Provides direction to retailers and distributors.
- Establishes budgets and monitors performance to budget.
- Leads and influences cross functional team in support of NOA’s business objectives and customer initiatives.
- Leverages analytics and insights to impact customer decisions and guide top-level business direction for both NOA and customers.
- Directs brand equity enhancement efforts.
- Liaison to legal department providing status of counterfeit product proliferation, intellectual property infringements, lobbying, government relations, and industry association efforts.
- Develops and enhances relationships with key retailers.
- Accountable for regional financial performance and maximizing regional profitability.
- Directs staff, monitors and evaluates performance, provides feedback, guidance, training, and task direction.
- Establishes policies and procedures.
- Forecasts work volume and staffing levels.
Summary Of Requirements
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years business experience with a background in CPG being highly preferred.
- Experience working with Walmart and/or Target highly preferred.
- Broad understanding of organization sales, marketing, finance (including P&L management), and general business practices.
- In-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, communications, manufacturing, and operations practices.
- Supervisory, management, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong PC skills.
- Applies in-depth knowledge of own org function as well as commercial expertise to differentiate the company from the competition.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Business Administration with a focus on Sales, Marketing, or International Business.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $197,000 - $354,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
