Director of Small/Medium Business Sales

This position is a direct report to the Vice President - Small/Medium Business (SMB).
The Director of SMB Sales is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies and programs that maximize Frontier's market share and profitability in the SMB space. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities.
What you'll do:
- Lead a team of Sales Managers, Sellers, and partners to increase sales and penetration in the assigned market.
- Coaching team to create high-quality performers that will be considered for future leadership roles within Frontier.
- Setting aspirational goals, providing leadership to the team, and driving tactical implementation.
- Define strategy and approach to SMB segmentation and prioritize opportunities in the business-to-business (B2B) space in partnership with marketing, engineering, and operations.
- Analyze data and evaluate opportunities with the lens to maximize revenue and optimize expense.
- Leverage business insights to identify business opportunities and strategies; proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and satisfaction by engaging with businesses.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks. Identify opportunities to proactively win back previously lost customers.
- Develop and execute an overall strategy to capture market share, grow revenues, and generate profitable business within the assigned market.
- Drive market growth through portfolio and partnership expansion with full accountability to deliver SMB revenue.
- Analyze data to design accurate targets and forecasts, ensuring projections are in line with operational goals and overall company growth strategy.
- Negotiate profitable contracts with large commercial property developers and property managers to enable access and facilitate business relationships and sales.
- Align the sales team's objectives with the overall business strategy.
- Deliver against aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Create an environment that stimulates an enthusiastic, innovative, and highly motivated organization focused on continuous improvement to support SMB sales and strategy.

- Salary Range: $120,000 - $216,000.

- Ability to collaborate/partner with various teams across the organization to drive initiatives and results.
- Recruit and retain talented employees. Led and coached a team of mid-level managers and sales executives, motivating the team to the next level and identifying developmental opportunities.
- Proven ability to deliver expected performance results and ability to drive to the next level.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience in increasing leadership responsibility in sales, contracts, or operations support roles within the technology industry.
- B2B and SMB sales leadership required, acquisition sales experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with executives, department heads, mid-level management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- BA/BS required.
