This is a highly responsible, professional position involving complex and comprehensive analysis and a broad range of performance management activities for Palm Tran’s Executive section in the Performance Management Office (PMO).
An employee in a position allocated to this class is responsible for independently collecting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating performance measure results to staff and management to measure the performance of internal business operations. Work is reviewed by an administrative superior through conferences, reports, and observation of results achieved. Duties in this position include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business performance improvement initiatives. The Transit Performance Analyst is also responsible for periodic reports required for the National Transit Database (NTD).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business/Public Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Planning, Data Science; two (2) years’ experience in data analysis, public transit, performance management, quantitative analysis, data visualization; or any combination of related training and experience.
