With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a reputation for top-notch service, they are expanding their team and seeking a dynamic Sales Director to drive their sales efforts and lead their talented sales team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Roofing Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management within the roofing industry, a strategic mindset, and exceptional leadership skills. The Roofing Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
- Create and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the roofing sector.
- Lead Sales Team:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear goals and provide ongoing support and motivation.
- Manage Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including contractors, property managers, and homeowners.
- Address client concerns and ensure exceptional service.
- Analyze Market Trends:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
- Monitor Sales Performance:
- Track and evaluate sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management. Implement strategies to address performance issues.
- Manage Budget and Resources:
- Develop and oversee the sales department budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient use of sales tools and materials.
- Provide Product Support:
- Maintain deep knowledge of roofing products and services. Offer technical support and guidance to the sales team and clients.
- Enhance Sales Processes:
- Continuously assess and improve the sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of success in commercial roofing OR residential roofing. Previous experience in a sales management role is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing products, services, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel to client sites and industry events.
- Standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend work as required to meet client needs or attend industry functions.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and industry-specific knowledge to effectively drive sales and achieve business objectives in the roofing sector.
