Job Description
The Associate Director, Value-Based Care is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing execution of work supporting Privia Quality Network (PQN) within defined ACO Programs. As part of the PQN Leadership team and partnering with the Operations Team Leads, other Program Leads, and clinical leadership, develop and implement value-based programs, performance metrics and accountability, and performance improvement measures as needed. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining close relationships with payer partners to ensure Privia is positioned for success given any future program changes. This is a market-based role and candidates must reside within Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia.
Essential Job Duties:
- Accountable for the program performance, administration, and operations of the MSSP Program(s) and value-based care programs across lines of business.
- Lead and collaborate with the Board Committees and Clinical Leaders to meet performance targets.
- Develop and lead critical projects that will improve overall performance in the ACO.
- Adept at managing multiple mission-critical priorities at once.
- Educate the provider market and other key stakeholders on the program’s initiatives and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive success in key areas, including but not limited to Quality, HCC Documentation & Coding, Clinical Operations, and Performance Management.
- Drive results through dynamic leadership both internally and externally as a customer-facing leader.
- Serve as subject matter expert and internal resource for all things related to value-based care and collaborate with clinical and market leadership to guide program success.
- Organize population health team efforts and collaboration across lanes.
- Prepare and participate in monthly operation reviews with senior leadership.
- Work across value-based care and operational teams to advance performance and best practices in the market.
- Excellent communicator – expresses complex ideas clearly and effectively to a varied audience of physicians, Care Center staff, and Privia employees.
- Collaborator – able to develop buy-in and drive action across a wide set of team members.
- Experienced and comfortable in environments that require problem-solving without clear guidance and direction.
- Strategic – able to develop sophisticated relationships with network partners and payers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or relevant equivalent experience, MHA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a project or program leader within healthcare.
- Ideally, has had experience with CMS programs in the past.
- A proven ability to gain trust and work effectively with physicians.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a strong operating organization, reinforcing the mission and culture of an enterprise as exemplified by uniform standards and consistent performance.
- Strong orientation toward client service, quality, and team building.
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% & restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
