Based on a minimum 45 hour work week.
Your roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead 15+ progressive culinary, pastry and front of house team members in a rapidly growing
diverse multi-concept restaurant group
- Lead and delegate hiring goals for Gallery Pastry Shop and Gallery on 16th through marketing tools and referrals
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Lead scheduling goals and work with management team to fill scheduling needs while staying within company set % goals based on sales
- Identify and address financial opportunities within Gallery Pastry Shop
- Assist Chef de Cuisine, AGM, kitchen and bar manager with ordering and inventory management while keeping food cost and quality within Gallery goals
- Work with ownership to hit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals and budgets
- Work with management team to maintain labor goal
- Assist leadership with quality control and procedural continuity
- Make sure store menus are all up to date at all times
- Establish connections with the surrounding neighborhood and businesses
- Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards, current SERV SAFE certification
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• Communicates and takes immediate ownership of repair and maintenance issues •
- Keeps our company assets secure; including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
- Understands the key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant
- Puts an immediate stop to any inappropriate behavior, investigates as needed
- Trains, coaches, and develops team members daily
Bonus structure to follow. You will have your next review after 12 months with potential for a salary increase. Reviews will occur annually after that.
Vacation: Starting on your hire date, you will be eligible to participate in Gallery Pastry Shop LLC’s vacation program. You will receive 80 hours of vacation. We believe you should be able to enjoy your time outside of the restaurant. This means, that if it is appropriate to take a vacation, you should be allowed to. You will have to coordinate vacations with ownership and leadership. Please be advised the demands of the restaurant will have to preclude vacations. Vacation does not carry over to the next year. Upon termination of employment your vacation hours are not paid out to you.
Sick Pay: Taking care of yourself is important for you and for the business. Gallery Pastry Shop LLC allows for 40 hours of sick pay each year. If you are sick for longer than this allotted amount, your weekly pay will be prorated appropriately.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $25.00 - $36.00/hour.
