Position: VP/Director, Originations Strategy and Analytics
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)
We are seeking a VP/Director to lead Engagement Strategy within our Originations Strategy and Analytics team. As a key member of the Originations leadership team, this individual will manage a team of data-centric analysts, while partnering with the rest of the organization to develop and execute new strategies. This role requires deep expertise in customer engagement and conversion analytics, a strong hypothesis-driven mindset, and cross-functional leadership skills. A successful candidate will have experience analyzing drivers of both digital and phone engagement, building analytical frameworks and segmentation strategies based on data-driven hypotheses and testing, and partnering with Marketing and Product to continuously improve communications, capabilities and experiences that further engagement and applicant progression.
Working with various partners, the role will also have responsibilities for strategy development and implementation, reporting/insight generation, and ad-hoc analyses spanning their domain.
In the Role
- Own Engagement analytics (Web, email, SMS, phone, etc.) and partner with the Marketing team and Product team to develop omni-channel strategies to increase applicant engagement and progression.
- Own and develop all aspects of Originations Engagement reporting. Present insights on trends to various stakeholders, up to C-level.
- Develop through analysis and strategic thinking key areas of opportunity across digital and phone engagement strategies. Translate opportunities into business cases for new innovation/capabilities and obtain senior level buy-in.
- Develop analytical tools and frameworks to drive test design and post-test analytics, supported by statistical significance calculations, KPI dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to optimize conversion and response of new UX and communications via A/B testing and other digital analytics techniques.
- Partner with Data Science to optimize/develop models in support of your business strategies.
- Manage a team of analysts across this scope, providing leadership, development, and guidance to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science); Advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in finance (preferably in consumer lending) driving informative risk decisions through analyses; Master’s or PHD degrees may offset experience.
- 4+ years of leadership experience, building and prioritizing teams and objectives based on company strategy.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skillset using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python. Python preferred.
- Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems.
