GENERAL FUNCTION
The AI & BI Manager provides first class machine learning and strategic input to projects and ongoing operations; leads critical thinking and strategic planning for design, implements and directs AI/ML initiatives and is able to get the business more efficient with the Digital Strategy. This role is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading reports and dashboards in Manufacturing.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and evaluate new technologies on data visualization, machine learning, modeling in collaboration with experts.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics with the automation digitalization team that optimize efficiency and quality of the results.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the Business Analyst, Data Scientists, Data Engineers.
- Develop custom models, algorithms, and interactive visualizations to deliver Supply Chain insights with an innovative approach.
- Support and partner on implementing the BI strategy.
- Develop A/B testing frameworks with machine learning techniques.
- Complete experiments, test hypotheses, perform data mining and build models to solve highly complex business problems; apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to improve decision support systems.
- Identify and implement applications/processes that could benefit from AI/ML.
- Use data to constantly challenge and reshape our current understanding of business behavior and performance.
- Develop data structures to support the reporting requirements.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Department applications and interfaces between applications, reporting processes and data capture.
- Ensure accuracy in dashboarding and reporting.
- Actively participate in business unit projects and/or initiatives as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years working in IT with a thorough understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodology.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Science (data mining, Machine Learning, PLS, PCA), Data architecture, data engineering and Big Data.
- 3+ years of experience as BI reporting and visualization engineer, Business Objects and Tableau Administration.
- Proficient with one or more programming languages (SQL, Java, C++, Python, R) and in Data Analytics (DOE, Statistics, Math, probability, test plans, algorithms) and robustness process improvement approaches (SPC, Taguchi, multifactorial analysis).
- Demonstrated experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
- Ability to work within and lead cross-functional team environments (local and global).
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly translate requirements to prototype and get business buy-in.
- Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office.
- Creative and an outside-the-box mindset.

Pay Range: 117,087.25-173,627.00
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
