I am honored to once again partner with an organization here in Central Ohio to fill an upcoming vacancy in their finance department—an amazing opportunity for a strong CFO who is ready to impact this growing business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis of medical practice and all related entities, including retail hearing aid business and real estate holding companies.
- Oversight of finance department initiatives to gain operational efficiencies and enhanced data reporting and transparency.
- Leadership of the accounting team including Controller, Accounting Director, and Accounting Specialist, and oversight of their responsibilities including, but not limited to, general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll processing.
- Coordination with an outside accounting firm for the preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local tax filings for the practice and related entities.
- Collaboration with human resources on practice policies, compensation issues, and design of employee benefit offerings.
- Oversight of retirement plan administration for defined contribution and defined benefit plans, including annual compliance testing and participation in meetings with plan trustees and advisors to discuss fund performance and plan structure.
- Maintain relationships with practice advisors – bankers, legal counsel, CPA, insurance brokers, financial advisors, consultants, etc.
- Serve as a member of the executive management team and attend bi-monthly board meetings; provide insight and data critical to decision-making.
- Coordinate strategic planning initiatives with Board and administration in order to thoughtfully plan and pursue future goals and objectives.
- Provide education and detailed analysis/information to physician owners as necessary.
- Engage in other practice initiatives as directed by Chief Executive Officer and/or Board of Directors.

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting, CPA designation preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive financial management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a senior or executive leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
Salary: $200,000-$250,000
