As General Manager you will report directly to the CEO and assume all responsibility for leading the day-to-day operations of the organization with direct leadership responsibilities for all staff which includes accounting, recurring revenue, technical, customer support, sales, and field services. You will also retain overall responsibility for business development and company growth through new product development leveraging the current customer base as well as securing new customers.
You will:
- Develop and execute annual business plans to increase revenue and profitability. This would include key business development strategies to include both new and existing customer growth.
- Develop sales strategy and staffing to support the business plan, including new product development and introduction.
- Direct resolution of all unresolved operational and business issues.
- Determine staffing levels to achieve company financial goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to all staff with an emphasis on individual accountability and performance management.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or finance or equivalent work experience, 10+years working experience in operations, leadership roles, and business development.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial and leadership skills with a proven track record of growth in a technology based small company.
- Ability to remain strategic and provide forward looking vision while managing day-to-day operations.
- Significant experience managing and understanding of organizational accounting and finance.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience leading a multidisciplinary team or program in an engineering or technology business.
