Role Description
Your North Star: Drive marketing strategies to influence B2B partner growth and retention.
In this role, you will oversee and be accountable for B2B partner marketing. You’ll develop and execute marketing strategies that attract and retain B2B partners including health plans and large employers, ultimately driving revenue and expanding our market share. The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing at fast-paced start ups or virtual health companies, exceptional communication and collaboration skills working with teams including growth, customer success, product, and more, and experience supporting successful B2B partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Be the expert on our market, buyers and user personas, and our competition to inform B2B product positioning and marketing strategy
- Develop, operationalize, and enable internal teams on product positioning and messaging for new offerings and product features
- Deeply understand our B2B customers and act as the voice of the customer for internal product stakeholders
- Work closely with Partnerships to develop and refine pitches/marketing collateral and serve as a subject matter expert in key internal and external meetings
- Create compelling content in partnership with cross-functional teams for marketing campaigns, sales, and industry events that differentiates Pomelo in the market including case studies, blogs, presentations, and data-driven stories
- Align closely with Product Management to influence product roadmap prioritization by identifying partner and market needs
- Partner cross-functionally with other teams to explore the feasibility of new ideas or research how to enhance and further differentiate existing offerings
- Provide on-the-ground support for sales, customer success, product, and marketing teams at industry events and conferences
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, ideally at a fast-growing virtual care company or B2B2C startup
- Strong written and verbal communicator with an ability to extract user insights and position effectively
- Successful track record of translating product features into buyer and end user benefits
- Proven customer empathy and ability to advocate for partners to help shape the product roadmap and strategy
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to influence key business KPIs and growth metrics
- Able to manage highly interdependent, complex projects and keep various work streams on track
- Resilient problem solver that enjoys a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Pomelo Care. In accordance with New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable laws, Pomelo Care is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105,000-$125,000. We expect most candidates to fall in the middle of the range. We also believe that your personal needs and preferences should be taken into consideration, so we allow some choice between equity and cash.
