In this role, you will confer with internal stakeholders and build new collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders, policymakers, and advocates. You’ll contribute cutting-edge clinical and scientific data to help move healthcare forward and positively impact patients. You will:
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice as it relates to areas of interest.
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for appropriate assigned customers.
- Serve as the primary resource to provide support for addressing unsolicited medical questions and other scientific exchange matters.
- Identify, gather, and document field-generated scientific insights to drive innovative Medical Affairs strategies while complying with industry and corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
- 3+ years of clinical or related practical experiences in cardiology required.
- Experience working as a Medical Science Liaison within a hospital setting, specifically within ICU, CCU, or ED units.
- Strong scientific and clinical acumen.
- Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and realize the potential impact of that data on clinical practice and potential research needs.
