JOB DESCRIPTION
As a research analyst, you will provide macro and market insights to internal and external stakeholders of Commercial Banking.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Analyze macroeconomic data and capital markets trends
- Write short summaries of economics and market developments
- Create presentations that summarize research views
- Compose research notes and industry reports
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- 6+ years of financial industry experience
- Previous experience in economics, capital markets, strategy, investment banking, and/or equity/credit research
- Firm grasp of key macroeconomic concepts: interest rates, GDP, unemployment, inflation, supply chains
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills including charts and formatting
- Proficient in Word
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating role
- Healthcare, tech, manufacturing and/or consumer industry knowledge a plus
- Comfortable in client-facing situations; presentation/public speaking experience a plus
