Duties and Responsibilities- Develops and executes a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the Pharmacy market.

- Analyzes business development industry trends in Pharmacy market, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborates with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of Pharmacy groups and ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to conversion.
- Provides valuable insights and feedback to enhance the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Acts as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams, sharing market insights and customer feedback.
- Ensures alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives.
- Involved with the planning and development of key customer software integration and prescription ordering processes.
- Collaborates with strategic partners and clients to research market needs and identify possible new product and service solutions.
- Assists with the retention of key customers and de-escalation of service issues.
- Establishes and maintains a strong network of relationships within the industry.
- Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development efforts.
- Develops and implements annual business plans and manages monthly, quarterly, and annual expense and revenue budgets.
- Creates and delivers customized presentations and proposals for self-insured prospects while presenting the organization's products or services in a compelling manner, emphasizing unique value propositions.
- Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the self-insured landscape.
- Continuously improves product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Gathers feedback from clients and uses it to enhance products, services, and the overall customer experience.
- Defines and monitors KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of direct reports. Provides constructive feedback, as necessary.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on sales and customer service, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manages the hiring process including interviewing, training, and onboarding new employees.
- Promotes a collaborative work environment and positive company culture.

Knowledge and Skills- Proficient in financial analysis and establishing sales and marketing budgets and action plans.
- Proficient in Salesforce software applications including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, and related applications.
- Aptitude for medical/pharmaceutical terminology.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and follow-up with a sense of urgency on all matters.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership abilities, strong understanding of the 503B compounding market, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience and Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales with emphasis on business development, field sales, and national/large customer relationships in the pharmacy market required.
- 5+ years serving in Director level or above sales leadership position(s).
- 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales required.
- Experience in 503A or 503B compounding specialty pharmaceuticals, or Men's Health, Women’s Health, Telehealth, Hormone Replacement, Weight-Management, or Age-Management required.
