Job Title: VP of IT - Strategic Digital Platforms
Location: Billerica, Boston Massachusetts
Reports to: Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIO)
Job Summary:
The Vice President of IT - Strategic Digital Platforms will lead the Entegris Digital Innovation Platform (EDIP) by developing, integrating, and optimizing advanced digital platforms to accelerate the speed of experimentation and science. This role emphasizes leveraging AI, generative AI, hyperscaler technologies, engineering technologies, and PLM platforms to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage. The EDIP platform will enable our research and development teams globally to collaborate on building new technology and solutions in collaboration with our customers. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the strategy of EDIP aligns with business Strategic Long Range Planning (SLRP) objectives and deliver maximum value for our business and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for digital platforms focusing on AI, generative AI, hyperscaler technologies, engineering technologies, and PLM platforms.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Create and implement a roadmap for the development, integration, and optimization of digital platforms.
- Hyperscaler Technologies:
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure and operations team to lead the deployment and management of hyperscaler solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) to ensure scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency.
- Optimize the use of hyperscaler services to support digital platform initiatives.
- Ensure robust security, compliance, and governance practices are in place for hyperscaler environments.
- AI and Generative AI Integration:
- Oversee the integration of AI and generative AI technologies into digital platforms to enhance business capabilities.
- Drive the adoption of AI-driven solutions to improve decision-making, automate processes, and deliver personalized customer experiences.
- Engineering Technologies:
- Integrate and manage advanced engineering technologies to enhance product development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technology solutions align with business requirements.
- PLM Platforms:
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms.
- Software Engineering and Application Development:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom software applications.
- Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of IT professionals.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and management of digital platform projects.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of digital platforms.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with senior leadership and external vendors to understand platform needs.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Science/Technology field is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
