As a Data Product Manager - Vice President within the Employee Experience team, you will be tasked with owning Business Requirements and Data Flows in order to develop product strategy and prioritize roadmaps. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that strategic builds align with the overarching solution. You will also contribute to the design, implementation, and testing phases of strategic projects within the Channel's space reference data agenda, utilizing agile (scrum) methodology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently and manage requests from multiple groups, define business requirement spec working with users.
- Take ownership of Co-pilot's data strategy ensuring strict adherence to best practices around data governance, storage, data protection and security.
- Ability to think strategically but have strong attention to detail.
- Team player, with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Proven analytical, organization and planning skills.
- Serve as the liaison between technology teams, data governance specialists, analyst, product managers and other key stakeholders.
- Drive RAI (Responsible AI) initiatives for Co-pilot, ensuring our product remains safe and compliant to the firm's standards.
- Act as the main authorization contact for Generative AI data usage which will include leading Data Use Council processes and interfacing with key stakeholders.
- Represent Co-pilot around all things data to senior management and key stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 7+ years of product development and management experience.
- A strong background in business analysis, and data management.
- Track record of defining and successful delivery of new solutions from concept to launch and rollout.
- Self-driven with a proven ability to work well through ambiguity, tight deadlines and also within a collaborative group.
- Problem solving skills - superior ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of technology/analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights and develop recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills - ability to take strategic direction and independently develop/manage project plans. Proven ability to frame opportunity, own issues and have the determination to follow tasks/issues through to resolution.
- Experience representing complex data governance frameworks to senior leaders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience in traditional or Generative AI experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with AI model complexities related to data governance.
