Summary
Will contribute and drive several components of the M&A process and will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, developing, valuing, and execution of potential investments. Advises and evaluates deal rationale, financial projections, risk assessment, and financial implications.
Provides leadership and management support of sourcing, initial development, evaluation, deal execution and post deal follow up activities. Conducts industry research and competitive analyses in support of potential acquisitions.
Essential Functions
- Develop strategic understanding of BradyPLUS businesses to create thoughtful proforma analyses for various acquisition and combination opportunities.
- Work with EVP to source and develop relationships with acquisition opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements of investment opportunities and create dynamic financial models incorporating normalizations, diligence adjustments, and synergy assumptions
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
- Proactively communicate with project stakeholders to provide support, identify risks and issues, plan mitigations, implement solutions, and gain efficiencies
- Ensure that all assets for training, communication, documentation, and explanation of processes, roadmaps, and more are kept well-organized and accessible, and contribute new materials as needed
- Drive lessons learned and knowledge retention for future use
