A Senior Product Manager (PM) is a critical individual contributor who is a key leader with a Product Development team. They are the ultimate owner, accountable for envisioning business needs, value, and final software product delivery to the business. As the primary owner of a roadmap for the specific product(s) they are aligned to, they are responsible for the value and viability risk of software development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Envisions user and business needs and translates them into actionable strategies and roadmaps to include payment solutions for our B2B, D2C and B2B2C financial transactions.
- Aligned to a specific value stream or platform, you are accountable for delivering the value/outcome through the software back to the multiple lines of business.
- Maintains business architecture; strategies, process flows, data flows, system and function integrity into neatly organized documentation appropriate for different audiences.
- Develops a clear roadmap and looks for ways to optimize the business and technical architecture.
- Brings an outside-in view to accelerate innovation and make build vs buy decisions surrounding payments platform.
- Runs cross-functional agile teams to deliver the final payments product and iterate on product offering to continuously align to larger Upbound objectives.
- Engages customers to understand needs and behavior, identifies trends in consumer payments and adjusts strategies accordingly to include fraud mitigation.
- Seeks out new opportunities for growth and improvement to the overall business technology offering.
- Partners with UX/UI for continual testing and optimization of the customer experience.
- Works with key business stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
- Coordinates with other product managers, unblock teammates and provide relief from conflicting priorities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Product Management, 3+ years in the payments space.
- Highly organized and motivated individual with empathy and strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address product challenges and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding user needs and translating them into product features and improvements.
