Ford Motor Company - SAP Integration Director - Hartford, Connecticut
The Director, SAP Integration will play a pivotal role in driving technical integration, test automation, regression testing, and production cutovers across multiple business capabilities running on our enterprise S/4 HANA platform. This role will lead a team of talented global professionals and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our enterprise SAP ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive integration strategy for SAP systems across multiple business capabilities.
- Lead and manage a team of integration specialists, test automation engineers, and regression testers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain integration solutions to enable seamless data flow and process automation within the SAP landscape.
- Drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of regression testing processes.
- Oversee production cutovers and ensure smooth deployment of changes to the SAP environment.
- Establish and maintain best practices for SAP integration, test automation, and production cutover processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies in SAP integration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP integration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4 HANA platform and API-based integration.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes across various functional areas (e.g., finance, supply chain, order to cash).
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex integration projects from conception to implementation.
- Solid understanding of test automation principles and tools (Tricentis experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus.
