The Director of Product Management – Data and AI is accountable for the Data and AI product strategy and execution for Pager Health's data, artificial intelligence, and healthcare analytics solutions and capabilities. In partnership with the VP of Product, data science and data engineering, they will own the complete product lifecycle of data, AI and analytics including: strategy, data acquisition, development, roadmap, and measurable growth in value of the Pager Health product lines. This person will take the existing capabilities of the organization and help us scale in a period of rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy and Roadmap: Actively define the strategy and roadmap for the current product and future direction of our data, AI/ML and analytic solutions.
- Market Insight: In conjunction with the product strategy team, understand the market landscape, competitive forces and client needs to inform strategy and roadmap development.
- Productivity Improvement: Develop data intelligence products that enhance the productivity and experience of all Pager Health solutions, as well as introduce new capabilities to the market.
- Vision Creation: Create a vision for how data, AI and analytics will improve the Pager Health enterprise and member experience.
- Data Stewardship: Lead the curation and stewardship of data created, ingested, and aggregated, for the strategic enhancement of our value proposition to clients.
- Data Integration: Leverage disparate data sources, such as claims, clinical, and operational data, to create comprehensive and actionable datasets.
- Analytical Model Development: Guide the development of new models that are statistical in nature, leveraging biostatistics and other traditional statistical methods to advance our use of data.
- AI Model Development: Guide the development of new AI models that enhance, automate and orchestrate better enterprise and member experiences.
- Data Utilization: Utilize curated data for AI/ML applications, ensuring the data is used effectively to support advanced analytics and model development.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, AI experts, and product managers.
- Full Lifecycle Management: Lead the full product lifecycle by prioritizing, directing, and productizing features, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes.
- Technology Application: Know when and how to apply the right AI or Automation technology to the correct use cases.
- Data and Metrics: Obsess about data and metrics, ensuring that what we measure, we improve for both clients and the organization.
- Executive Interaction: Frequently interact with executive leadership and clearly articulate value, progress, and needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with all areas of the organization in a global company, from engineering to sales, spanning different countries and regions.
- Advocacy: Champion an automation-first mindset throughout the organization, encouraging innovative approaches to problem-solving and operational improvements.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 10 years in digital health product management.
- Advanced degree in a related field such as computer science, data science, public health, biostatistics, or artificial intelligence preferred.
- Data Management Expertise: Extensive experience in curating, managing, and stewarding large datasets.
- Healthcare Data Knowledge: Familiarity with various types of healthcare data, including claims, clinical, and operational data.
- Strong background in AI/ML: well-versed in the application of LLMs and neural networks.
- Statistical Modeling Skills: Strong skills/experience in biostatistics and traditional statistical methods for data analysis and model development.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in digital health.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of defining, building, and shipping enterprise-grade AI/ML and analytic products.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience speaking in front of partners and major customers.
- Team player with a collaborative approach, who can lead through influence.
- Experience working with and leading data science teams.
- Ability to connect business goals to mathematical models.

For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $161,400 to $200,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
