Position Overview
Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter.
We are seeking a Director’s Action Group (DAG) Specialist. The DAG Specialist is responsible for leading, managing, and executing various internal projects to include answering workflow taskers and summarizing large amounts of acquisition data. This includes knowledge and experience in Air Force records management and Defense Travel System (DTS). The ideal candidate will have experience processing, receiving, tracking, coordinating, and storing large volumes of program-critical information as well as demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple geographically-separated team members as required to support the mission.
Responsibilities
- Provide information, advice, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding.
- Coordinate and resolve issues and facilitate team communications to resolve program issues as well as the effective integration of requirements and efforts.
- Maintain, update, and analyze the acquisition forecast to ensure current and consistent content and identify any disconnects or deficiencies.
- Incorporate inputs from the force design, operational imperatives, combatant command integrated priority lists, and future force shaping products to deliver recommendations that enhance planning and capability.
- Advise and assist leadership in support of high visibility engagements, commitments, and taskers, to include at the congressional level.
- Draft, review, coordinate, and process program acquisition information suitable for public release.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and execute various internal projects to include workflow taskers and summarizing large amounts of acquisition data.
- Knowledgeable and certified in Air Force records management and DTS.
- Experience processing, receiving, tracking, coordinating, and storing large volumes of program-critical information.
- Experience coordinating and organizing multiple geographically-separated team members.
- Experience and expertise using DTS and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with DAG or executive support team(s).
- Masters Degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
