Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy Senior Technical Operations Manager to join our fast-paced, innovative team at FlexAI. This role is pivotal in ensuring our platform operates at its peak performance as we scale rapidly. You’ll have the opportunity to drive impactful changes in a dynamic environment, optimize processes with cutting-edge AI, and work cross-functionally with some of the brightest minds in the industry. What you’ll do:
Service Reliability and Incident Management:
- Oversee the stability and reliability of the platform, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Support SRE engineers in implementing robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Develop incident management protocols, ensuring swift response and resolution during outages.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes to prevent future incidents.
Operational Scalability and Infrastructure Optimization:
- Collaborate with engineering (DevOps, MLops, and infrastructure teams) to ensure the platform can scale efficiently to meet growing demand.
- Optimize the infrastructure to support growth while keeping operational costs in check, particularly around GPU and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement auto-scaling and resource allocation strategies to handle variable workloads.
Task Automation and Workflow Development:
- Identify and automate repetitive tasks using AI-driven solutions to streamline internal operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Set up workflows for incident management, customer support, and operational tasks to ensure efficiency and clarity across teams.
Customer Success and Support Enablement:
- Work closely with the Product Manager and customer success teams to develop processes that ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
- Develop and implement workflows for customer support, ensuring rapid resolution of issues and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Strategic Thinking and Growth:
- Lay the groundwork for long-term operational readiness by balancing current operational needs with future scalability.
- Contribute to the shaping of company culture, helping to build a flexible yet robust operational foundation that supports rapid growth.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- A proven operations leader with 5+ years of experience setting up and managing day-to-day processes in a global, tech-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize and automate operations through AI and other innovative technologies.
- Experience in managing or scaling operations in a high-growth, tech-focused company.
- Strong collaboration skills, working across engineering, product, and customer success teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, ML Ops, or GPU infrastructure is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in cloud computing organizations is a plus.
