Here is what you will be doing each day:
In this role, you will be leading and managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Front Office to include:
- Interviewing, hiring, training, recommending performance evaluations, resolving problems, providing open communication and recommending discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
- Responding to guest’s special requests, needs, problems, issues and concerns and accommodating groups to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Implementing company programs and supervising the daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPS and LSOPs, maximize revenues, and motivate associates to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.
- Supervising and managing all Front Office Staff.
- Remaining calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other employees. Resolving customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Making decisions and taking action based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situations. Authorizing revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.
Does this sound like you:
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position at a full service hotel. You have excellent knowledge of all aspects of the Front Office operations. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You have a passion for excellence in customer service and have the skills to resolve issues that may occur. You are an experienced leader to manage a team. BA degree preferred. Marriott Brand knowledge and Lightspeed system experience is a plus.
