Director, Provider Contracting (Fertility)

Maven is looking for a Director, Provider Contracting (Fertility) who will lead our Network Operations team in supporting our global and domestic fertility and women’s health partnerships. This role is highly cross-functional, working with Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Services, and Marketing teams while playing a key role in the ongoing development of Maven’s network strategy.
Reporting to our VP of Payment Delivery, you will be responsible for the development and support of provider networks as well as unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting. The Director is responsible for overseeing network development and maintenance, which includes oversight of our provider network clinical initiatives, provider engagement and relations, contracting and credentialing, and provider data management.
A critical aspect of this role is ensuring positive and proactive relationships are established and maintained with key fertility network partners as well as provider/institutional network owners and leaders. The Director will evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls.
As a Director of Network at Maven, you will:
- Focus on Network expansion across the U.S. and globally
- Lead our ancillary partner strategy
- Develop high-level, strategic relationships with key clinic partners
- Build out a network support function including reporting capabilities, product enhancements, and provider relations operational support functions
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in network strategy and contracting
- Industry experience with fertility/reproductive health
- Previous experience managing a team of direct reports, with demonstrated excellence in people management
- Strong leadership skills and effective problem-solving abilities; must be able to develop and grow relationships with clinics, executive leaders, and internal cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a cross-functional capacity
- Strong operational mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and experience working in fertility and women’s health
- Expertise with data analysis business intelligence tools
- Experience with international contracting and understanding of international health care requirements
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $180,000-$205,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
