Regulatory Affairs, AVP - Regulatory Affairs Office (RAO)

Major Responsibilities:
- Manage the standing MIS regulatory request process and submit all requested MIS to regulators.
- Support end-to-end regulatory exam management, including meeting scheduling, organization of document productions, responding to regulatory requests for information, and drafting meeting summaries/minutes.
- Provide support to RAO Team Leaders on regulatory exams and executing assigned tasks on exams.
- Engage with Business Unit and other key stakeholders to monitor open issues (MRA/MRIAs), remediation activities and key milestones, and issue escalation.
- Build relationships with all primary regulators and examination staff.
- Communicate with Tokyo HO stakeholders, including, but not limited to, MUFG Bank Global Planning Division and MUFG Government and Regulatory Affairs Office.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in regulatory relations / regulatory exam management and knowledge of heightened regulatory environments.
- Attention to detail with ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner against strict deadlines.
- Exam management and strong project management skills supporting exams and regulatory projects for the financial services industry.
- Proficient in organizing and tracking progress on multiple tasks and projects with strong follow through and time management skills.
- Proficiency with MS office applications.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $100K - $115K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
