Riveron is looking for a Technical Associate Director focused on Technology Advisory Services to join our Technology Enablement practice. This client-facing role will interact with key client leadership (CFO, CIO, Controller etc.) and will primarily contribute to engagements related to IT Diligence and IT M&A PMO.
The Associate Director will work side-by-side with our Transaction Services and Integration Management team members in leading client projects ranging from IT Due Diligence to helping clients integrate the technology stack they acquired during an acquisition. The successful candidate must have experience working in the M&A space as it relates to both pre- and post-close offerings.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or advisory role
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Project manage IT integrations in a M&A scenario
- Previous experience in IT due diligence and transaction environment
- Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration and custom object-oriented design and development
- Demonstrated experience leading technical engagements including proposal development, estimation, and day-to-day project management experience
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CGEIT, CISA, PMP, etc. a plus
- IT Audit/SOX/HIPPA compliance background a plus
- Working with Microsoft Project or other web-based work management solutions such as Asana and/or SmartSheets
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation, business processes revamp and optimization, systems configuration, and change and issues management
- Knowledge of systems functional design as well as technical design and system architecture
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage client service engagements with an emphasis on IT due diligence or IT M&A PMO within our Technology practice and aligned with our Transaction Services (TS) practice
- Develop and implement IT integration strategies and plans for mergers and acquisitions, aligning them with overall business objectives
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to execute IT integration projects, including infrastructure consolidation, application rationalization, data migration, and system integration
- Lead all IT aspects of merger and acquisition transactions, providing leadership, coordination, development, and oversight of project management disciplines, processes and functions across IT teams
- Align with internal and external business leaders on all IT aspects and requirements to ensure smooth integration within scope and on budget
- Provide advisory services related to IT portion of the Transaction Services Agreement
- Analyze process/data gaps and design technical documents to meet needs
- As a key member of the firm's integrated due diligence offering, identify cross-practice service opportunities for business development expansion
- Active participation in business development activities; including scoping discussions and proposal development
The expected pay range for this position is $165,000 - $210,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
