The Vice President, Strategic Initiatives is a senior-level executive responsible for ideating, planning, and executing new strategic projects that drive revenue and can be profitably scaled. This role is entrepreneurial in nature and requires a high level of initiative, cross-functional coordination, and comfort operating in ambiguous situations. The ideal candidate will be a positive leader with the ability to handle high-level negotiations and business development conversations with sophisticated decision-makers.
AS THE VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC INITIATIVES, YOU WILL:
- Formulate clear business cases for new strategic projects that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough business planning and financial modeling to assess the feasibility and potential profitability of new projects.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for new projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and execution of new projects.
- Monitor the progress of new projects and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments or improvements.
- Break down complex information and simplify it for clear and effective communication to various stakeholders.
- Represent the company in high-level negotiations and business development conversations with sophisticated decision-makers and executive leaders.
- Stay up-to-date on the live events industry landscape, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities for new projects.

OFFICE INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending.
