MeBe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to establish best practices, oversee current and future clinical therapy initiatives, while mentoring and coaching our team of SLPs around the nation.
They will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive speech therapy programs that align with our organization's mission and values.

About What You’ll Work On
Set Standards for Best Practices and Quality Assurance of Services:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for MeBe Speech services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve MeBe’s speech and language programs that address the diverse needs of our clients.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, licensure requirements, and accreditation standards related to speech therapy services in CA, WA, AZ, VA, and TX.
- Establish and monitor quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Growth, Mentorship and Training:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to design a recruiting strategy to attract and vet talent.
- Assist in onboarding and initial training of new SLPs, ensuring a seamless transition to life at MeBe, including creating their training schedule.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate Speech therapy staff, fostering a skilled, collaborative, and supportive team.
- Arrange and host CEU trainings, and hold monthly clinical roundtables with the clinical team.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to the staff of SLPs, assisting in complex cases and treatment planning.
- Review and assess therapy techniques, ensuring they are evidence-based and patient-centered.
Personal Case Management and Therapy:
- Lead by example by maintaining a caseload of 10-15 direct clinical hours per week on average and associated administrative caseload time.
- Complete evaluations of new clients and onboard new clients, often managing caseload when a new SLP is in the training process, to have a seamless hand off.
- Complete treatment plans, evaluations, sessions, and session documentation for personal clients.
Collaboration and Partnership:
- Collaborate seamlessly with ABA and OT providers across our regions and be a spokesperson for Multidisciplinary care.
- Engage in community outreach and marketing activities in partnership with the Business Development department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate speech therapy services into overall patient care plans.
- Partner with Sr. Regional Directors to help build an SLP presence at all MeBe locations.
- Partner with OT and ABA Trainers to develop and host quarterly educational content to promote collaborative care principles to enhance patient outcomes and teamwork culture.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as an SLP-CCC.
- Prefer California based but remote location is OK.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with the pediatric population preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a management capacity and remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy practices and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
