Responsibilities:
As a Director in Corporate Business Development focused on Strategic Capture, contribute to MTSI business expansion through leading and supporting MTSI and Division growth initiatives. Provide Strategic Capture leadership to priority Customers and Opportunities, collaborating with Customer and Technical leaders, tailoring MTSI BD Processes and best practices for Capture, and coaching others to build MTSI capture leadership capacity. Build and deliver Strategic Capture Training/Coaching. Coordinate with Division/BU leaders on priorities, provide leadership analyzing potential ideal Customers that align with MTSI strategy. Provide leadership in Proposal and Solution development, leading Volumes and coaching others to build capacity across MTSI in proposal development.
Essential job experience and functions will include but not be limited to:
- Identify, qualify, shape, capture, develop solutions and win priority opportunities greater than $50M or when specifically directed, smaller strategic penetration contracts and task orders.
- Oversee market analysis and assess competitive environment for Strategic Capture initiatives.
- Uphold and instill the highest of moral and ethical standards of conduct throughout the workforce, living by and fostering MTSI’s core values.
- Knowledge of MTSI differentiated capabilities and how they can be tailored, integrated, applied to meet Customer needs.
- Experience building and leading teams, providing tactical and strategic direction/recommendations, providing and communicating Strategic Capture vision for growth initiatives within the MTSI framework of core competencies and differentiated skill areas.
- Develop the workforce, providing coaching and mentoring in growth initiatives (e.g., capture leadership, proposal development).
- Works collaboratively across all MTSI Divisions and Business Units, building alliances and relationships needed to execute growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
Required:
- 10 years’ experience running $100M+ professional services capture efforts across the Federal sector, including DoD RDT&E community supporting warfighter, acquisition community, and policy customers. Candidates should be able to lead efforts requiring some or all of T&E, MS&A, DE, and Digital Transformation.
- Experience in developing/executing Strategic Capture strategies for new Customers and Opportunities.
- An ability to represent and articulate MTSI’s core values, and a history of excellent ethical business conduct.
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player and has a track record of effective internal and external collaboration, communication, and team building.
- A strategic thinker with the vision and ability to lead >$100M new business capture efforts.
- Collaboration with domain experts across an organization to architect integrated solutions and mature those through proposal preparation and development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to interface internally and externally at executive levels, and ability to gain support and buy-in from all levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and mature customer and industry partner relationships.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; technical discipline is preferred (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science).
Master’s degree in business (e.g., MBA) or MS in a technical discipline is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance; TS and SCI eligibility preferred.
- US Citizenship is required for this position.

Travel
The position requires moderate travel (10%-20%) to customer and/or office locations across the United States.
