As a Business Banking Portfolio Manager, you will handle underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management to optimize processes, retain clients, and grow relationships. This role focuses on analyzing financial data, structuring loans, and managing Business Banking portfolios. Senior managers may also train junior team members.
This person will also:
- Oversee the renewal process with Sales, Support Specialists, and the credit team for timely completion.
- Conduct annual reviews and ensure timely collection of financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with credit policy, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze financials to recommend loan structures and manage relationships.
- Manage credit risk and maintain portfolio quality.
- Collaborate with the Credit Department, Relationship Managers, and internal partners.
- Participate in loan approvals and manage loan repayment activities.
- Support community and business functions to enhance the bank's presence.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related discipline. Required
Experience
- 5-7 years of Commercial/Corporate or Specialized Banking and/or Credit Approval. Required
- 2-4 years handling complex credits. Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive self, if applicable, by start date. Required
