Senior Director, Product Marketing
Job Summary
The Senior Director, Product Marketing develops and implements product marketing programs, and takes a key role in ensuring effective product messaging. This dynamic, high-impact position will collaborate closely across functions including marketing, technology, and revenue to drive product awareness, adoption, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Enable sales and product teams with market and competitive intelligence.
- Develop and implement price plans to support overall product strategy.
- Distill key functionality and benefits into product positioning, messaging frameworks, and outbound sales and marketing materials.
- Establish and monitor key marketing metrics that enable the success of products and solutions.
- Establish marketing and communications plans that lead to successful product growth and profitability.
- Manage marketing activities for new product development, including requirements documentation, concept and design development, project management, and market introduction.
- Build, implement, and optimize proven product marketing processes, including repeatable frameworks and models for communication.
- Plan the launch of new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Develop market business plans by researching customers and trends.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness, understanding, and support for the product and its features across the organization.
- Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
- Exhibit a strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in a related field position.
- Experience in high growth/pre-IPO technology companies is a plus.
- Experience developing go-to-market plans with clear data-driven results.
- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
- Proven ability to maintain and enhance cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally across product, sales, and training teams.
- Proven ability to create go-to-market positions and strategies.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $225,000-$255,000, plus company bonus and stock options. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
