Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Operations
As COO of Operations, you'll be responsible for setting the strategic vision for the Operations organization, inclusive of the technology, business, and legal teams. This position is integral to the growth and success of our organization and will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the firm's strategic plans.
Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
Operational Management:Oversee daily operations, including administrative, financial, HR, IT, and facilities management.
Implement operational procedures for optimal efficiency.
Financial Oversight:Develop and manage the firm's budget.
Oversee financial reporting and ensure fiscal responsibility.
HR Management:Lead the human resources department in effective recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee retention.
Risk Management:Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Client Service:Implement procedures to maintain high levels of client service.
Address operational challenges impacting client service.
IT Management:Oversee the firm's IT infrastructure for efficient operations.
Vendor Relations:Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Process Improvement:Continuously assess operations for improvement opportunities.
Implement best practices.
KPI Management:Create, track, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:Lead, manage, and coordinate staff activities to ensure successful execution of company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in an operations role.
- Proven experience as COO or in a similar senior administrative role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of business functions (HR, finance, IT).
- Proficient in budget development and oversight.
- Knowledge of the legal industry and its challenges is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- US Work Authorization.
- Extensive knowledge of the legal industry.
- Experience with billing and tracking KPIs.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
