Oversee all financial activities, supply chain functions, and provide strategic guidance in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Group and local, national, and international generally accepted accounting principles to drive sound financial reporting and decision-making, optimize supply chain operations, and enhance organizational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop financial models for revenue, expenses, and cash flow analysing financial data for trends and opportunities to provide strategic insights enabling informed decision-making for profitability and growth
- Lead annual budgeting, collaborating to establish financial targets, to foster financial discipline, optimizing resource utilization to support organizational growth and profitability
- Ensure accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance, including facilitating audits, maintaining integrity, compliance, and trust among stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate financial risks by establishing internal controls and compliance procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance, enhancing financial stability and resilience
- Oversee procurement optimizing inventory levels and minimizing lead times, to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction
- Provide financial insights for long-term planning supporting strategic initiatives to facilitate informed decision-making, driving organizational growth and success
- Analyse ROI for capital investment decisions to optimize capital allocation and support strategic growth initiatives
- Build collaborative relationships internally and externally to cultivate teamwork, trust, and alignment, driving organizational success and stakeholder satisfaction
- Lead finance, IT and supply chain teams cultivating growth and collaboration among team members to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork, enhancing team performance and organizational effectiveness
- Perform all other relevant duties as assigned by your management line to ensure optimum operation of the business.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant
- Masters' Degree
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards (both US GAAP and IFRS), and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data to drive strategic decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving financial performance and business growth
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
