As Senior Director, Product Marketing you will drive the go-to-market Kyocera software and technology solutions, differentiated, “fit-for-purpose” and value driven software products and solutions. To achieve this goal, you will lead and mentor a product marketing team to define and execute the go-to-market market strategy for software and technology products. Additionally, you will drive business operational excellence by ensuring the operationalization of Kyocera products and services. A compelling strategist and storyteller, you will have a strong track record on execution of new monetization opportunities. You will also have a passion for enablement to ensure our partners and field are fully ready to evangelize and promote our offerings.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a product marketing team to drive the go-to-market process for software products and solutions.
- Analyze the strategic fit of Kyocera products within the market and develop strategies to target high growth and profitable customer segments.
- Identify new product opportunities including product positioning, messaging and value propositions that drive customer value and growth into new market segments and verticals.
- Continuously identify and develop partnerships to extend Kyocera solutions into new market segments and industry verticals.
- Serve as market "champion" and spokesperson to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of products' and segments' marketability, profitability, and fit within the changing marketplace.
- Establish a customer engagement process including the creation of customer focus groups and user communities.
- Ensure sales enablement of our subsidiaries and dealer channel sales partners to drive the creation of sales materials including playbooks, battle cards, scripts, presentations, training modules, customer testimonials and case studies.
- Represent Kyocera at tradeshows to promote our products and services.
- Partner with sales, delivery, and business operations to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business results.
- Collect and analyze customer and sales feedback and share results with product development to drive the product roadmap.
- Ensure an experience that delights our customers and measure new approaches to improve our customer satisfaction.
- Develop and enable a solutions sales model across our subsidiaries and dealers.
- Drive the team to conduct market research, SWAT analysis, market analysis, value modeling, and solution pricing.
- Establish a standardized Kyocera go-to-market process to ensure release quality, consistency, and reduce the overall time to market.
Drive Business Results and Customer Value
- Hold all teams accountable for results through the development and measurement of KPIs including but not limited to profitability, customer satisfaction, and market and competitor trends to recommend new products or product enhancements.
- Drive the development of organizational software and technology certification programs for direct and indirect sales channels.
- Establish a win-loss initiative to improve product performance.
- Provide market feedback to the product teams including customer usage models, sales feedback, and customer satisfaction/NPS to measure performance and utilization of existing and new functionality & features.
- Define and drive the implementation of product KPIs to monitor product and operational performance.
Supervisory Responsibility
The position will lead a product marketing team and will guide and mentor less experienced staff.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science
- 10 – 15 years’ experience in product marketing or product manager with product marketing experience
- 5 – 7 years managing and leading teams.
- Experience leading partner/alliance GTM models - e.g., ecosystem selling, co-brand, white label products.
- Experience working with third party business units including subsidiaries or dealers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking, and listening.
- Experience influencing change in a matrixed environment.
- Experience defining and developing SaaS Cloud based enterprise client solutions.
- Experience defining and demonstrating customer value.
- Experience creating and presenting roadmaps and business plans to executives.
- Experience driving operational strategy into executable plans.
- Experience identifying and developing new strategic partnerships.
- Experience with SaaS software product development GTM and lifecycle.
- Experience analyzing sales and marketing data to drive strategic outcomes.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, JIRA.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
Preferred:
- Experience with printing and capture software, document management and ECM solutions a plus.
- Experience with artificial intelligence a plus.
- MBA.
Travel
20 - 25% Travel.
