We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head the Business Systems Cybersecurity team. As the Sr. Director, you will oversee all business area (BA) cybersecurity activities in support of current and future contracts. You will be responsible for driving corporate-wide cybersecurity strategy, initiatives, processes and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, and team leadership.
As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and continue to develop a comprehensive cybersecurity program aligned to best practices, while overseeing security risks, incident response, and recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security initiatives align with business objectives, while monitoring emerging threats and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership on the status of the cybersecurity program.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure effective security operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration to improve processes and compliance, while maintaining compliance with DFARs and CMMC regulations.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the security team, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to support enterprise cybersecurity activities.
- Provide leadership oversight and ensure team is developed to promote growth and success.
- Ensure thoughtful adherence to all SNC policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience directly managing cybersecurity personnel and assets with progressive career advancement through the cybersecurity function.
- In-depth knowledge of CMMC, DFARs, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and industry best practices.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP and CISM.
- Proven leadership abilities, including change management, mentoring, career development, training, and accountability.
- Strong ability to drive innovative thinking, inspire and collaborate with teams, manage complex situations, and adapt to dynamic environments.
- Experience in team building, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to navigate change and implement policy.
- Proven ability to interpret guidelines/regulations and apply them to individual situations.
- Experience managing complex cybersecurity systems.
- Proven ability to influence partners to incorporate security requirements and drive process improvement.
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in cyber security or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications such as GSLC, GCIH, GDSA.
- Background in Aerospace and Defense, US Department of Defense (Civilian), NASA/Civil or commercial space, and/or US Military, with an understanding of defense, aerospace, intelligence, and adjacent markets. Familiarity with NISP and DNI security policies and regulations.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: Vulnerability Management, GRC, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering.
- Familiarity with Cloud and Application Security.
- Experience in project management and delivery methodologies, as well as directing Security Operations and Emergency Operations Centers.
- Demonstrated passion for ideation, innovation, and motivating others to act.
- Proven long-term and strategic perspective, with the ability to articulate a clear direction.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
